JULIO

Julio Aguirre is a fourth-year undergraduate student at California State University Long Beach (CSULBmajoring in Consumer Affairs. He was part of the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP)in which he presented at two UROP symposiums. He is currently working under the Office of Undergraduate Research Services (OURS). He joined Dr. Kelly’s Child Language and Memory (CLIaM)lab because he is intrigued about child development and would like to develop more skills in research such as collecting data, analyzing research articles, and critical thinking. As a consumer affairs major, he would like to expand his knowledge by collecting different statistical results to predict consumer trends and patterns. He is also eager to learn more about interpreting research statistics.Julio hopes to gain more research experience to prepare him for future internships and career opportunities in data analysis.He plans to take his real estate exam following graduation and hopefully open his own brokerage in the near future.Julio presented in Western Phycological Association, National Conference of Undergraduate Research and Society Research of Child Development.In his free time, Julio loves to play and watch volleyball and soccer matches. He is also into video games and exploringnew places.
