Julio Aguirre

JULIOJulio Aguirre is a third-year undergraduate student at California State University Long Beach majoring in  Consumer Affairs (CSULB). He was part of the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) in which he presented at two UROP symposiums. He is currently working under Office of Undergraduate Research Services (OURS).He joined Dr. Kelly’s Child Langauge and Memory (CLIaM)lab because he was intrigued about child development and would like to develop more skills in research such as collecting data, analyzing research articles, and critical thinking. As a consumer affairs major he would like to expand his knowledge collecting different statistical results to predict consumer trends and patterns, and Julio is eager to learn how to interpret research statistics. Julio hopes to gain more research experience to prepare him for future internship and career opportunities in data analysis . He plans to go to graduate school, obtain a Master’s in Consumer Science. Julio presented in Western Phycological Association and National Conference of Undergraduate Research. In his free time, Julio loves to play and watch sports such as volleyball and soccer. He is also into video games and exploring new places.
